(2020-2024)
Darin Vickery has been one of Boise Little Theater’s most dynamic and dedicated leaders of the past decade, contributing as an actor, builder, designer, live-streaming technician, and multi-term President (2020–21, 2021–22, 2022–23, and 2023–24 seasons).
Darin’s first BLT performance came as Harold “Mitch” Mitchell in A Streetcar Named Desire (2017), and since then he has become a regular presence on the BLT stage, portraying a wide range of characters including Col. Fitzwilliam in Pride and Prejudice (2017), Professor Plum in Clue on Stage (2019), Oliver Warbucks in Annie (2019), Lloyd Dallas in Noises Off (2022), and Sir Anthony Absolute in The Rivals (2025). His comedic timing and versatility have made him an audience favorite, and he earned BLT’s Best Cameo Actor Award for Charley’s Aunt (2017) and Best Lead Actor Award for his unforgettable Nick Bottom/Pyramus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2021).
Behind the scenes, Darin has been a powerhouse contributor to scenic construction, set painting, and technical elements. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was instrumental in BLT’s pivot to virtual theater, coordinating, building, and operating cameras for live-streamed productions such as Cabernet Cabaret, Vintage Hitchcock: A Live Radio Play, and Five Women Wearing the Same Dress.
Darin’s leadership extended beyond the stage as the Primary Coordinator of BLT’s 75th Anniversary Gala, as well as a lobby poster artist, program designer, and creative mentor to fellow volunteers. His work has ensured that Boise Little Theater remained vibrant and accessible to the community, even through challenging times.
Darin Vickery’s blend of performance talent, technical skill, and visionary leadership has left a lasting mark on Boise Little Theater, continuing its mission of community-driven, high-quality theater into its next generation.
