What is Spring Fling?

Spring Fling is a brand-new, family-friendly community event hosted by Boise Little Theater- created to bring together local theaters, artists, and the wider Boise community for one joyful day of connection, creativity, and celebration.

This is not just a theater event – it’s a chance to:

  • Discover local theaters and arts organizations.
  • Enjoy short live performances in one place.
  • Let kids play.
  • Celebrate the shared love of storytelling and the performing arts.

Whether you’re a lifelong theatergoer or just looking for something fun to do on a Spring Saturday, Spring Fling is for you.

What You’ll Experience

Live Performances

Enjoy a rotating lineup of short performances from Boise Little Theater and other participating theaters – musical numbers, scenes, monologues, and more – performed on stage inside BLT.

Come for one performance or stay – this is a drop-in, relaxed atmosphere designed to be welcoming and accessible.

Community Booths & Theater Tables

Meet theaters from around the area, learn about upcoming seasons, auditions, volunteer opportunities, youth programs, and ways to get involved. Each participating group will host a booth with their own flavor and flair.

Kid-Friendly Activities

Spring Fling is designed with families in mind!

Expect simple carnival games, creative activities, andplayful experiences that keep kids engaged.

Food & Drinks

  • Food trucks outside the theater
  • Beer and wine sales inside the building from 4-7pm
    (Alcohol stays indoors-family fun remains the priority.)

Support Local Theater

Spring Fling is also a celebration of the people who make local theater possible. You’ll find:

  • Fundraising opportunities
  • Raffles and giveaways
  • Ways to directly support the theaters you love

Every ticket purchased, raffle entered, or donation made helps ensure that local arts continue to thrive in our community.

This is our first year, and we’re intentionally keeping it simple, joyful, and community-centered- with hopes to grow this celebration in the years to come.
