A California native, Chance moved to Idaho in 1996, and has lived here ever since. Not long after moving to Idaho, Chance fell in love with theatre and wanted to become an actor. He’s appeared in several shows at Boise Little Theater, including The Play That Goes Wrong, Sherwood, and Austenprov, and directed Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors. Chance is also a screenwriter and filmmaker, having worked on over 50 films like his international award winning short films, Here Is Where the Monsters Live (2021), Slaughterhouse (2023), and Bric-à-Brac: Reconcile (2025). He is a constant-student of acting, living by the philosophy, “If you know everything about acting, you should stop acting”. He is an instructor at Boise Acting Studio where he teaches a Meisner-Adler hybrid method.
